Youth Skateboarding Camp @ Empire Skatepark

Currently booking February 2024 for Beaverton and Hillsboro school district

Youth skateboarding camps at Empire Skatepark are a fun, welcoming way for kids ages 7-13 to spend a day learning, riding, and building confidence on a skateboard. Our one-day camps are designed for a wide range of experience levels—from first-time riders to kids who already feel comfortable pushing around the park. Instructors focus on safety, balance, and basic skills and tricks while keeping things upbeat and encouraging, so every camper can progress at their own pace.

Each camp blends structured instruction with plenty of supervised free-skate time, giving campers a chance to practice what they learn in a supportive indoor environment. Helmets are required, pads are strongly encouraged, and our staff is always nearby to help with tips, encouragement, and the occasional high-five. Whether your rider is brand new to skateboarding or looking to sharpen their skills, Empire’s youth camps are all about having fun, learning safely, and leaving stoked to come back and skate again.

Please see the calendar below for available days andweeks. Registrations are on a first come first serve basis. A filled out waiver will be required for the camper before registration is complete. Please note: the participant is the riders name and infomration. When their date of birth is entered, the parents/guardians name and information section will be shown.

  • Take turns and understand that we share the space so everyone gets a chance to skate.

  • Stay safe by wearing safety gear and following camp rules at all times.
  • Let’s keep camp awesome for everyone!

Our Instructors

Camp Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation policy carefully before registering:

  • A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot in a week-long camp. This deposit is included in the total camp fee if paid in full.
  • Single Day camps will be charged the full fee for the day at the time of registration. If a day-camp is cancelled by Empire we will refund the cost of the day camp.
  • If a participant cancels more than 14 days (two weeks) before the camp start date, they will receive a refund of all fees paid, less the $75 non-refundable deposit.
  • If a participant cancels within 14 days of the camp start date, the full amount paid will be credited toward a future camp of their choosing. No refund will be issued.
  • If only the $75 deposit has been paid and the participant cancels at any time, no refund will be issued. However, the deposit may be applied toward a future camp or class of the participant's choosing.

If the camp is canceled by the facility due to low enrollment, participants may choose to:

  • Apply the full amount paid, including the deposit, to the next camp or any future camp or class, or
  • Request a refund of all monies paid except the $75 deposit, which will be converted to a store credit that can be used toward any future camp, class, store items or program.

We aim to be as flexible as possible while maintaining fairness and program sustainability. Please contact us if you have any questions or need assistance with a cancellation.
