About The Club
Empire Skateparks After School Skate Club is a structured, confidence-building skate program designed to help riders progress their skills, make friends, and enjoy skateboarding in a positive, fun environment. Each session balances guided instruction with time to freely skate and apply what they're learning.
Perfect for skaters who want consistency, encouragement, and a weekly skate crew after school.
Please see the calendar below for available days and weeks. Full term registrations are available for a discounted price. Single days and full term can be booked below. Registrations are on a first come first serve basis. A filled out waiver will be required for each rider before registration is complete. Please note: the participant is the riders name and infomration. When their date of birth is entered, the parents/guardians name and information section will be shown.
Parents or guardians are responsible for transportation to and from the park. Drop off is anytime after 3:45pm and pickup is requested to be no later than 6:15pm.
As always, helmets are required for riders 18 and younger. Pads are optional but encouraged. Rentals are available if needed and included in the price.
Registration Note: There are two events on the calendar, one for the drop in class and one for the semester registration. Please register the one you wish to attend. Payment will be due at time of registration for drop ins; a deposit is required for semester, with full payment due before the start of the club.

Click the link to fill out the waiver form (required for all riders and guests entering the park area) and create your account automatically. Under 18 year olds will need a parent or guardian to complete the waiver form. Under 10 year olds will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Skate Club – Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our After School Skate Club.
What skill level is required?
All skill levels are welcome—from brand-new skaters to those already landing tricks. Riders are grouped by ability so everyone feels comfortable and challenged at the right level.
What day and time does the club meet?
The After School Skate Club meets Tuesdays from 4:00–6:00pm, starting January 20th and repeating weekly for 10 weeks.
What does a typical class look like?
- A warm-up and skill focus led by our coaches
- Individual tips and progression guidance
- Time for free skating and practicing new skills
The goal is structured learning without killing the fun.
Does my child need to attend every week?
We strongly recommend attending weekly to get the most out of the program, but we understand that schedules happen. Missing a class won’t remove your spot from the club.
What equipment is required?
- A skateboard
- Helmet (required)
- Pads are strongly recommended, especially for newer riders
What ages is this for?
This program is designed for school-aged riders, ages 7–14. If you’re unsure whether it’s a good fit for your child, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help guide you.
Is this a drop-off program?
Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but it is not required. Our staff supervises the group for the full session.
What’s the difference between semester registration and drop-in?
Semester Registration
Guarantees your skater’s spot and offers the best value at $29 per class.
Drop-In Registration
$39 per class, available only if space allows. Weekly riders always receive priority.
What if enrollment is low?
To ensure a positive group experience, a minimum number of participants is required. If that minimum isn’t met, we’ll reach out ahead of time and provide a refund or alternative option.
What if we’re unsure and want to try it first?
Drop-ins are a great way to test the waters if space is available. Most families choose semester registration to lock in their spot and savings.
What happens if a class is canceled?
In the rare event Empire needs to cancel a session (weather, staffing, or low enrollment), we’ll notify you as soon as possible and provide a credit, makeup option, or refund. Most likely, a class will be added to the end of the semester to keep schedules consistent.
How do I sign up?
Registration is available up above or at the park. Select After School Skate Club and choose semester registration or drop-in.
